Also leaving the Cafe this weekend was this game controller cake. This cake is a two layer high, oreo cookie and cream flavored cake. The shape was hand carved in order to get the larger size I needed. No formed pans used here. Each decoration was made from chocolate and vanilla fondant with the entire cake being wrapped in vanilla fondant for that smooth look, and dusted with blue luster dust for that extra shine. Custom cakes from CWC come in all shapes, sizes, designs and flavors. Like this special little guy. This is a simple 6" square, three thick layers high, half chocolate and half vanilla cake, covered in a vanilla buttercream and crushed oreos. Three of the greatest flavors all blended into one.
I love when baby showers come through CWC. All the pretty pinks, blues, and sparkles get me every time. These pretty sugar cookies left the Cafe today on their way to help celebrate an upcoming arrival. Congratulations on your bundle of joy!
Who says you have to pick only one theme for a birthday cake? Not here at Cake Walk Cafe! This 8", three layer high beauty is sporting THREE themes. I love when I have a customer who has the same creative vision for cake designs as I do. This is CWCs signature French Vanilla cake with layers of almond buttercream throughout. The outside is decorated with vanilla buttercream, with all handmade decorations made with sculpting chocolate and real vanilla chocolate for the tools. Edible icing pictures and chocolate candy "rocks" complete the look. And another hidden surprise? The middle of the cake is filled with chocolate candy rocks, gold sprinkles, and candy hammers that will spill out with each piece cut. Happy Birthday Corbin!
This adorable "How to Train a Dragon" themed cake was special in more ways than one. This is a 6", three layer high, triple chocolate cake with vanilla/almond buttercream. All decorations were made with edible sculpting chocolate. Now here's what makes this cake different. Every inch of this cake and decorations, are DYE FREE. From the marbled gray look to each and every flower, rock, and blade of grass, you won't find any artificial coloring here. A combination of all natural black cocoa and plant based dye free colors, are just the icing on the cake for this birthday celebration. Happy 8th Birthday Zia!!
CWC had these super sweet treats go out to both of our soccer teams today. These are our extra large, extra soft and extra sweet Funfetti Sprinkle cookies. With tons of sprinkles, Ghirardelli white chocolate chips, white chocolate backing, and edible sparkle all over, these are the perfect treat to get your sweet on! Fantastic job today to both Team Cakes!!
An entire crew of vanilla flavored cake pops tumbled their way to a classroom birthday party today. These gymnastics themed pops were decorated with tumbling swirls of purple chocolate, pink and orange sprinkles, and edible sparkling glitter. Each bag was also decorated with a sticker in the gymnastics theme. Happy Birthday celebration Skylar!
And brightening the Cafe today were these adorable rainbow sugar cookies. These were my signature sugar cookies in the 3" size. And of course each cookie was loaded with edible sparkle.
Cake pops are the name of the game at the Cafe. Today we had some basic vanilla cake flavored pops coated in a mixture of white and milk chocolate, then covered in some sweet colorful sprinkles.

Minecraft was the theme of the weekend! And this cake is something a little bit different. Did you know that you can order a large cake like this without it being a large cake? This cake has a foam cake dummy for a bottom layer with only the top layer being actual cake. Perfect for a party that you would like a large cake look for a small cake price and without having tons of cake left over. The 6" square TNT cake is a triple chocolate cake with maple vanilla buttercream filling. Decorated with a combo of edible images and vanilla fondant. A new sweet treat is coming out just in time for school lunches, sports games, birthdays and the upcoming holiday seasons. Introducing the "Cakewich". A delicious sweet cake treat in the form of a sandwich. Each one is even packaged in a triangle sandwich container. The designs on these cakes are not frosting. They are designs that have been baked right into the cake. So no messy outside frosting which makes them easier to hold and eat than a traditional slice of cake or cupcake.
Featured this week is this colorful smiley face cakewich, with a vanilla/banana cake flavor and a banana buttercream filling.

I had so much fun making this one. Just loved the balloons and fluffy clouds. This is a two tiered cake with an 8", four layer high, marble flavored cake on the bottom tier, and a 6", three layer high raspberry flavored cake on the top tier. The bottom tier was layered with a maple buttercream and the top tier was layered with a raspberry buttercream made with real raspberries. Accompanying this adorable themed cake was a small bento size smash cake. The balloon shaped smash cake was a french vanilla flavored cake with vanilla buttercream and lots of blue glitter. The perfect size for those little birthday hands to dig into. Happy Birthday little one!

When you're a fan of all things "Jaws" related, of course you have to have a Jaws cake for your birthday! This is a quarter sheet size, two layer high, red velvet flavor cake. (And yes of course it had to be red inside. ) Layered throughout and decorated with cream cheese buttercream waves. Happy Birthday Matt!
It was the weekend for birthdays, finishing off with this adorable cow cake. I absolutely LOVE making these little guys! This one is a 6", three layer high, raspberry flavored cake. Made with fresh red raspberries in the cake and filled with raspberry buttercream also made with fresh red raspberries. His face, ears and horns were all made with sculpting chocolate and fully edible. This little cow is thoroughly sweet from the inside out. Happy Birthday!
