
Vacation is over and I am back in full swing at the Cafe! I had the honor of baking up some graduation sugar cookies for a very special girl's celebration. Congratulations Kaylen on your graduation from Marion and best wishes on your next adventure at Ivy Tech! I can't wait to see what you accomplish next! CWC also had an early birthday celebration for this little mermaid princess. This is a quarter sheet size, two layer high, pink strawberry flavor cake. Layered throughout with a cream cheese buttercream, and decorated outside with tons of vanilla buttercream flowers, coral, and a glittery mermaid tail. Happy Birthday Princess Makayla!

When you're a fan of all things "Jaws" related, of course you have to have a Jaws cake for your birthday! This is a quarter sheet size, two layer high, red velvet flavor cake. (And yes of course it had to be red inside. ) Layered throughout and decorated with cream cheese buttercream waves. Happy Birthday Matt!

It was the weekend for birthdays, finishing off with this adorable cow cake. I absolutely LOVE making these little guys! This one is a 6", three layer high, raspberry flavored cake. Made with fresh red raspberries in the cake and filled with raspberry buttercream also made with fresh red raspberries. His face, ears and horns were all made with sculpting chocolate and fully edible. This little cow is thoroughly sweet from the inside out. Happy Birthday!

The perfect little cake for a book lover's birthday. This is a 6", three layer high, triple chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filling. The book bindings are a vanilla fondant with edible book title images. Happy Birthday!

This pink and gold beauty went out today for a special 30th birthday celebration. (Customer has the topper) this is a 9", four layer high, creamy almond flavored cake. Layered throughout and covered with almond buttercream. Topped off with real gold leaf decorations and covered in edible gold and prism glitter. Happy Birthday!

Loving the gold and black combo for this graduation cake that went out for today. This is an 8", four layer high, red velvet cake, layered throughout and covered in a vanilla cream cheese buttercream. Congratulations Grad from CWC!

Another new combination left the cafe today. I love when my customers challenge me with new items. This is an 8", five layer high cake. What makes this birthday cake special is that its a "sampler cake." Meaning that each layer is a different flavor. Starting with the bottom layer, this cake had a: Triple chocolate cake layer, French vanilla cake layer, red velvet cake layer, hummingbird cake layer, and the top was a chocolate mousse layer. In between and surrounding each layer was a cream cheese buttercream. And wrapping up the design were tons of sprinkles and real maraschino cherries dipped in edible red glitter. Happy Birthday!

This beautiful quarter sheet cake went out for a very special Baptism this past weekend. This is a two layer white cake with a vanilla/almond buttercream. Decorated with buttercream rosettes, metallic gold sugar pearls and lots of edible glitter. Growing up in a Christian family, I know how special and important a Baptism event can be. And I was so honored to be asked to make this cake for such an event. Congratulations to Nola and her family on this momentous occasion. And thank you for letting CWC be a part of it.

Its graduation time again! CWC's signature sugar cookies were all decked out in Elkhart High School and Indiana University colors to help celebrate. And accompanying these cookies were some chocolate cake pops in EHS blue and gold, and some vanilla cake pops in IU red and white. Congratulations Will!

I love the bright, colorful rainbow theme for this birthday celebration! A mixture of chocolate and vanilla flavored cupcakes topped with a creamy vanilla buttercream in a rainbow of colors. Each cupcake was baked in a rainbow liner, nestled in a rainbow wrap, and topped with a glitter rainbow topper. And of course covered in edible prism glitter for that extra bling that CWC loves. Happy 7th Birthday!

I also baked up some deliciously addicting mini strawberry cheesecakes this weekend. These have a firm, soft crunch graham cracker crust. A creamy, melt in your mouth cheesecake covered with real strawberry slices and a strawberry sauce cooked up here in the cafe.

Loving this baby shower theme for this event: A Little Dumpling Is On the Way! These are CWCs classic sugar cookies in happy little dumpling shapes and colors. And don't forget the two piece cookie dumpling basket, with lid and tiny dumplings inside made with white chocolate. Congratulations Linda on your upcoming bundle of joy!

Lilo and Stitch were in the Cafe today! Passing through on their way to a special birthday party. These were a mixture of CWCs French vanilla and triple chocolate flavored cupcakes. Topped off with vanilla buttercream and sculpted chocolate flowers. I was loving the toppers on these. Can you guess which one is my favorite? If you guessed Elvis Stitch then you're right! I like the movie mostly for the music. Haha. Happy 7th Birthday to the birthday girl!

With the graduation season being in full swing here at CWC, I sent these beauties on their way to another celebration. These are 5 dozen of my Salted Caramel Cupcakes. Baked directly in these decorative cupcake cups with a gooey salted caramel center, and rich caramel flavored buttercream, they are the perfect combination of salty and sweet. And of course I had to add just a few more caramel bits as decoration and covered it all in edible glitter. Congratulations Grads!

This very special graduation cake went out yesterday. I absolutely LOVE orders like this one! It makes my creative side so happy! This is a two layer, triple chocolate cake with a vanilla/maple buttercream filling. The "book" is covered on the outside with a vanilla fondant for the pages, and a chocolate fondant for the cover. All decorations are completely edible. Congratulations Collin on your latest success!

What delicious treat left the cafe today? Two words for you: Butterscotch Cookies. Soft, delicious and sweet. You name the cookie flavor and CWC can make it for you. All custom orders, all the time.

And accompanying the dog themed cookies is this half sheet cake. This is a two layer, half chocolate and half vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. The dog bones and paw prints were made here in the cafe out of chocolate. With all this sweetness being topped off with an edible image of some adorable birthday party pups. Happy Birthday!

I also had a dog themed 2nd birthday this weekend. The birthday boy loves dogs and his favorites are German Shepherds and Huskies. So naturally, CWCs sugar cookies just had to fit that bill: German Shepherds, Huskies, dog houses, dog bones, and doggie food bowls.

This adorable little bento cake went out today for a special birthday celebration. This is a 4", 2 layer high, French vanilla cake with vanilla/almond buttercream, which of course is also covered in edible glitter for that extra special sparkle. Happy Sweet 16, Mikiyah!
