I made a little sneak trip to South Bend today to surprise my brothers with some special personalized cookies. These last few years have had some difficult times for our family, but one thing I've always had and am beyond thankful for are my big brothers. They've been there for me thru good times and bad so I just wanted to give them a little something to let them know I appreciate them. And also to let them know how proud I am of them and seeing them using their talents, and living out their happiness. Brian, I'll be out to one of your next performances this summer for sure! And John, I can't wait to get to the track to see you run that big blue! Thank you guys! Love ya both! β€οΈ

Okay y'all, doing a little experimenting in the cafe today. As I was trying to find a purpose for these "not so ripe anymore" lemons, I decided to make my first attempt at something I've been wanting to try for awhile now: hyperrealistic cake art. One of these lemons is not like the others. Ha In fact it's a funfetti cake ball. I think I'm hooked on this type of cake art already! π stay tuned for more creations to come!

CWC had these adorable team baseballs go out today! These are our chocolate chip sugar cookies decorated with each player's name and a few for the coaches too. Thank you, Sabrina for reaching out to CWC for your team's sweet treat! πβΎοΈ

Another event in the books for CWC! This event was a little quieter, but still a good time with great people. What I love about these events is seeing friends we've made along the way. And making new friends each time. Southgate Crossing has a great group of vendors who help, support, and encourage each other. Making this location CWCs favorite spot. And we were beyond happy to share this today with musician Brian Mach. He played some awesome tunes, we had some laughs, and I even scored myself a Brian Mach tshirt! All in all it was a great day! Thank you Brian for coming out!! Hope we can do it again soon π

And we had a first here at CWC this weekend. This was a Sonic themed birthday party for Ryker's 5th birthday. Full of sugar cookies, cupcakes and cake pops of white and chocolate cake. But what makes these items special is that they were all decorated with dye free food coloring. Made with 100% vegetable juices and no artificial dyes. But still just as cute and just as yummy! π

We also had a graduation party, with jersey, baseball, and leaf sugar cookies. I'm loving the Goshen purple colors of course! πβ€οΈ

CWC had a week full of a variety of events. Starting with these baby shower cupcakes. These are a blueberry lemon cupcake made with fresh blueberries and lemons. And of course decorated with some signature CWC glitter bling. Congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy! π

And one more Father's Day order went out today. This is a mixture of strawberry and red velvet cupcakes with personalized edible images for that special Dad. β€οΈ And don't forget, CWC can do the edible images for you at any time and on any item, even cookies. Just message or email me the pic you'd like to use and I can make it happen. π

Cake Walk Cafe would like to wish all of the Dads out there a very Happy Father's Day!! And a special shout out to everyone who ordered some special treats for those special Dads. From chocolate chip pizza cookies, to chocolate sugar cookies, to personalized cupcakes, CWC enjoyed being a part of your special day. Here are a few pictures of some of the items that went out this weekend. Thank you for another successful holiday! π

CWC is helping to welcome a new baby girl in sweet treat style today. This is an 8" on the bottom tier and a 6" on the top tier. Both tiers are a funfetti cake covered in vanilla buttercream. The inside layers are stuffed with a lemon raspberry filling made with real raspberries, real lemon zest and fresh squeezed lemon juice. The pink elephant cake topper is actually a CWC sugar cookie holding a sugar gum paste pink heart. And of course, Baby Emma couldn't be celebrated at this baby shower without plenty of glitter bling sprinkled all over the cake. Congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy! πΌ

And we already have a winner! Debbie Peters MontaΓ±ez guessed the correct number of snickerdoodles! 70! Great job and congrats! π
Attention all cookie lovers! CWC had this beauty leave the cafe yesterday. This is a Cookie Tower of our signature snickerdoodle cookies. And this is ALL cookies folks. Nothing in between but sweetness. π Happy Birthday Matt! I hope you enjoy your cookies!
* And here's a little challenge for y'all. If anyone can guess the correct number of cookies in this tower, you can score yourself a FREE dozen cupcakes for this weekend! The dozen will include four vanilla, four red velvet, and four strawberry cupcakes. If you win, the pick up for these will be this Saturday. Just leave your guesses in the comments. Good luck! (And no, Emily, Jessy, and Matt, you guys can't play. Since you already know the answer. Lol π)

When you're having a line dancing birthday party, what better dessert to have than a herd of highland cow cupcakes! The cupcakes are a french vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream cow faces. The snouts, ears and horns were hand sculpted here in the cafe out of modeling chocolate and sugar gum paste. The perfect addition to the country line dancing theme. These little cuties have quickly become a favorite here at CWC. π€ π

A special Happy 25th Birthday wish is going out to Tanner today with these awesome sugar cookies! CWC put a sweet twist on the phrase "have a cold one". Thank you for letting us be a part of your birthday celebration again this year! π₯³ ππ

Is it your turn to bring the team treat? I've been there with my daughters' t-ball and soccer games. Let CWC help you out! Like these adorable baseball sugar cookies that went out today to treat a local t-ball team. We can make them for any sport and they can also be personalized with the player's names or numbers if you'd like. Just message me here at the Cafe to place your orders and treat your team with a unique sweet treat! βΎοΈβ½οΈπ₯ππ

And here's the finished product. A four tiered wedding cake for my babygirl's wedding. And it actually survived the 90+ degree weather. Barely though as the buttercream did get super soft, and we bumped up the cake cutting just to be safe, but she still made it deliciously. π The top tier is a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. The second tier is a vanilla cake with layers of maple and cinnamon buttercream. The third layer is a red velvet with vanilla buttercream. And the fourth bottom layer is a vanilla cake with layers of vanilla and real strawberry buttercream. Decorated with greenery and white flowers to match the wedding decor, flakes of real gold leaf, and strings of mini white pearls. Despite the heat of the day, the wedding was beautiful. My daughter was out of this world beautiful. β€οΈ And I gained another awesome son. Congratulations Emily and Cisco, Mr. and Mrs. Sierra! Love you guys!

Slider cheeseburgers and hot dogs were some of the items that were at the Spring Vendor Event at Southgate Crossing at the CWC booth. These mini burgers have a vanilla cupcake bun and a brownie hamburger center.

This super hero size of a cake left the Cafe yesterday. This is a two tiered cookies and cream cake, with an 8" on the bottom and a 6" on the top. Filled and covered in CWCs signature buttercream. All decorations were handmade here to match exactly what the customer wanted. I hope this cake helps this little guy feel super special on his special day. Happy Birthday from Cake Walk Cafe!!

We all love our fur babies as if they were our children. So losing them is always a difficult time. But luckily for the recipient of these cookies, she has an awesome neighbor who reached out to help brighten her day a little. And CWC was happy to be a part of it. Here's to all the great neighbors who watch out for each other and reach out in times of need. You're a true blessing.

Brownies of all kinds are everywhere at the Cafe today! We had some gluten free dark chocolate brownies, gluten free milk chocolate brownies, and some regular fudgy brownies. All super thick, super soft, and super chocolate-y. Special made for a few Mother's Day orders that went out this week. π

These adorable, colorful Mother's Day sugar cookies are off to brighten someone's special day. These are our large 4 1/2" cookies decorated in bright colors and of course a little glitter bling. And accompanying these cuties was an assortment of gluten free and regular brownies. Happy Mother's Day!! ππ©·
