A Lightyear themed cake left the Cafe today. This is a 6", three layer high, marble flavored cake with buttercream filling and covering. The decorations were handmade out of fondant. And to top off the Lightyear theme, CWC had to add some purple lights for that extra bling. 🥳 Happy 4th Birthday Messiah!

Okay y'all, welcome to September!! And September here at the Cafe means the return of our popular pumpkin roll! This item will be on the menu from now until Thanksgiving.
It will also be one of the featured items at the Fall Festival at Southgate Crossing on October 7th. I'm going to have half roll sizes at the event along with single slice packages. When it's your special day and your favorite fur baby is your black cat. Well naturally you have to have a black cat cake. 🐈⬛❤️ This is a quarter size sheet cake made with three layers of white cake and layered throughout with CWCs signature vanilla buttercream. The black cat and butterfly silhouette is hand drawn and fluffed up with black buttercream. Loving the black and white contrast on this one! 🙂
This deliciously sweet gem is on its way to help a special someone celebrate their 77th birthday! This is an 8" round, four layer high, French vanilla cake. Layered throughout with a fluffy marshmallow buttercream and covered on the outside with CWCs signature vanilla buttercream. Three different levels of sweetness combined to make this one delicious birthday!! 😋🥳
Welcome to soccer season! These large 4" soccer ball sugar cookies are on their way to treat some adorable little soccer players. ❤️ They run their little hearts out on that field, so they deserve a special sweet treat! These adorably colorful cake pops and cupcakes left the cafe today. The cake pops are a triple chocolate cake covered in vanilla flavored candy and rainbow sprinkles. And the cupcakes are also a triple chocolate cake topped with a matching light pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles. The frosting is an extra sweet and creamy marshmallow buttercream. Happy Birthday, Skylar!! 🥳
Some pretty in pink cookies were up next for the Cafe. These are our large, 4" signature sugar cookies in a glittery pink onesie, beer mug, and flower covered baby diapers. Congratulations to the mama to be!! 🍼🥳
This is the weekend for baby showers! Starting with 75 of these adorable highland cow cupcakes. ❤️ Cute on the outside and delicious on the inside. The white cows are a vanilla raspberry flavor with real cooked raspberries swirled in a french vanilla cake. The brown cows are a triple chocolate peanut butter flavor. And the black and white are a cookies and cream flavor. Congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy! 🍼🥳
Accompanying the fish sugar cookies was this pull apart cupcake cake. With the cartoon style fishing pole and chunky little fish, it's the perfect pairing for this birthday party. Along with an additional three dozen cupcakes in a mixture of vanilla and chocolate flavors and blue buttercream. (These will be topped off for the party with little bobber toppers that the customer had purchased.) All of these were also decorated with Watkins dye free food coloring.
One more birthday for this weekend! 🥳 These adorable sugar cookies are only half of the fun for this first birthday celebration. (The cake and cupcakes will be in a separate post) And what makes them extra special is that they were created with dye free food coloring. Happy Birthday Jasper! 😁
My favorite color coated this birthday beauty. This is an 8", four layer high, pineapple cake with layers of pineapple buttercream throughout. (Made with real pineapples of course 🙂) Decorated with a trio of hummingbirds surrounded by buttercream flowers in an ombre of purples and white flowers. All flowers were created here in the Cafe by hand. It's the weekend for birthdays for sure! Happy Birthday! 🥳
Next up today was this #2 birthday cake. This is a triple chocolate cake layered with CWC's signature buttercream. All decorations were made here in the cafe with sugar gum paste and are fully edible. Including the tires. 🙂 The hot wheel cars are real toy cars for racing fun even after the cake is long gone. I also had the pleasure of making this little ones first birthday last year, so it's always an honor to be trusted again to provide birthday #2! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🥳
CWC had a variety of orders leave the cafe this weekend. Starting with these cute nurse cookies. These were a surprise for a local ER nurse's birthday today, since she was working on her special day. Thank you to all the hardworking nurses out there! Happy Birthday Caley! 🥳 I hope you enjoyed your surprise!
This absolutely adorable pink flamingo cupcake cake made an appearance at the Cafe today. This cake is made with 25 cupcakes in a mixture of funfetti and vanilla flavors. The cupcakes were baked here in the Cafe, but the decorating and assembly were all completed by my cookier Jessica Proctor for our very own April Fraga. (Along with the matching party decor.) Happy Birthday, April! I hope you enjoyed your surprise early birthday party! ❤️
This big boy "DJ Cake" left the Cafe today. This is a half sheet, three layer high, funfetti flavored cake with a chocolate peanut butter creamy filling. And if that's not sweet enough for you, the entire cake is encased in walls made of thin rice krispie treats covered in vanilla fondant. All of the decorations were handmade here in the cafe from a mixture of fondant and sugar gum paste. And to top off the entire DJ vibe, I also added a red lighting strip around the base of this sweet creation. Happy Birthday Jimmy! I hope you enjoy your cake and have a great party! 🥳
Just a little announcement.🙂 The Cafe is fully booked for the month of August! (With the exception of one spot possibly still available for the weekend of the 26th.) I'm currently filling spots in September and October. And they're filling up fast, so if you have an upcoming event for either of these months, please get your requests in soon. You all really rock!
