Blue, her friends, and her clues were in the Cafe today, celebrating a very special first birthday! This is a six inch French vanilla smash cake made special for the birthday boy. Accompanying this cute little cake were Blue's Clues cake pops in a large and small size. These were also French vanilla cake. Happy 1st Birthday, Ares!
Loving the cupcake number idea for this birthday celebration. Sixteen cupcakes in a cookies and cream flavor with a vanilla almond buttercream. Topped off with basketball themed toppers and black glittery bows. Surrounding the cupcakes were basketball bouncy balls to round off the theme. Happy 11th Birthday Maci!
Celebrated a "50 and Fabulous" birthday theme this past weekend. These large sugar cookies were decorated in a dusty rose and black color theme, with a hint of gold bling. Just enough to emphasize the "fabulous" part of this birthday celebration. Welcome to the 50 club! Happy Birthday!
A good customer of mine sent this idea to me and asked if I was planning on making these for Valentine's Day. My response: "I sure am now!" Haha. Each bag contains one large, undecorated heart shaped sugar cookie, a bag of sprinkles, and a mini decorating bag filled with buttercream. All topped off with a cute holiday themed bag topper. These are the perfect gift for your kids, grandkids, your childs' classmates, your students, etc. I loved this idea so much that I'm thinking of offering it for St Patricks Day with clover shaped cookies, and Easter with bunny or egg shaped cookies. What do y'all think?
It's been a busy week at CWC with these little cuties. These tiny, bite size heart shaped sugar cookies have been the most popular item this year for Valentine's Day. With each little 1" cookie being decorated by hand, and each dozen packaged in a cute light blue mason jar, they're the perfect gift for that special someone this holiday.

I loved the idea for this 40th birthday cake! This is a custom sized "mini sheet cake" in a french vanilla flavor. Layered throughout with a butter pecan buttercream, made with real crushed pecans. Covered on the outside with a rich vanilla buttercream. Happy 40th Birthday!!

Did you know that CWC also makes healthy versions of a few of our sweet treats? Just like these rich chocolate brownies. These are paleo friendly and made without any white sugar or flour. With almond flour, coconut sugar and oil, and lily's dark chocolate no sugar baking chips, they're a guilt free option to satisfy your sweet tooth. And that's a good thing because it's hard to have just one!
The final birthday this weekend is the cutest theme for a 2 year old's birthday! A fun theme with a fun color scheme deserved some fun flavors for the cupcakes. So we came up with these:
*The little mallard duck cupcakes are a hot cocoa flavor with a marshmallow buttercream. The little ducks are made out of a sculpted chocolate and sugar gum paste blend and are fully edible.
*The swirled design cupcakes are a chocolate and vanilla marble with a maple/vanilla buttercream.
*And the number 2 cupcakes with the little cattails are a banana flavor with creamy vanilla buttercream.

It's the weekend for birthday parties! First up is this Frozen themed birthday. We love Elsa here at CWC! This is a 9", four layer high, almond flavored cake with vanilla/almond buttercream. Covered in pretty blues, purples, pinks, and tons of sparkle. The snowflakes are made from sugar gum paste. With Elsa on the front and Anna on the back, it's the perfect cake for a princess's birthday! Accompanying this cake are matching sugar cookies. Bluey and the family paid CWC a visit this weekend! This is a 6 inch, three layer high, vanilla cake with marshmallow whipped buttercream. All of the Bluey characters were made here in the cafe. Happy 4th Birthday, Brantlee!!
Changing things up a bit here in the cafe today. Getting away from the snow and cold with this over the top adorable capybara cake and cupcakes! This is a triple chocolate cake and cupcakes with vanilla almond buttercream. Each and every critter was hand sculpted and created here in the cafe out of sugar gum paste, and are fully edible. I love how they're all just chillin in the water. How many more days until summer again? Haha. Happy Birthday to Cassie and Candice!
