Another batch of Christmas Sugar Cookies are out the door tonight! I love using these classic Christmas shapes, but every time I make them, they're a little bit different. No two batches are ever exactly alike here at the Cafe. Everything is custom and uniquely designed just for you. 🎄❄️☃️

And we have another Christmas time birthday to celebrate! This is an 8" round, strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting inside and out. A pretty in pink cake with dark pink edible icing butterflies, and dusted with pink edible glitter. Happy Birthday, Jade! 🥳

CWC had an extra special job this weekend: my little man Armando's 5th birthday! He can never get enough spiderman and I loved every minute of planning this layout with him. He chose a white cake with our signature buttercream frosting, covered with red glitter. He said it needed to shine. Haha The decorations for his cake were made and provided by his Mom and Dad (April and Elier). And along with his shiny cake, were his awesome sugar cookies, decorated by his Aunt Jessy. (He guarded these with all his might 🙂) And with his Aunt Emily providing the great venue, the whole family came together to make his day special. And CWC is honored to have been a part of it. ❤️ Happy 5th Birthday, Mando!! 🥳

These Christmas cookies were a special creation for another local company, Carpenter Company in Elkhart. Some basic styles with custom cookies mixed in for the office and for the truck shop. The truck cookie is an actual picture of my husband's tractor trailer. Just a little something for all the folks there for the holidays. Especially the truck shop and his dispatch. (I was trucking dispatch there for a few years in a different division, so I feel their pain haha) Merry Christmas to all the folks at Carpenter Company from Cake Walk Cafe! 🎄

We had some more office/company Christmas parties leaving the Cafe today.🎄The pictures here just don't do the metallic silver and disco glitter justice though. 🙂 But these are a black vanilla cupcake with a silver buttercream frosting that sparkles in the light. Okay y'all, we all know that one of the staples of this holiday season is Christmas cookies. But we also know that finding the time to bake them from scratch isn't always easy this time of year. So why not let CWC save you the work, so you can enjoy the fun part: decorating! Introducing the "Naked Christmas Cookie" line of sugar cookies. 😊 You can order these undecorated cookies for $1.25 each. We also have some with the candy center like the Grinch cookies, and those are available for $1.50 each.

You can also make this a kit option, which includes three decorating bags of royal icing in the basic Christmas colors of red, green, and white. This kit also contains Christmas sprinkles for those beautiful final touches. Kits of one dozen cookies, icing and sprinkles are available now for $20 each.

And if you prefer Christmas cupcakes over cookies, we also have the same pricing and options in a "Naked Cupcake" kit. Cupcakes come undecorated with three containers of CWC's signature buttercream frosting and Christmas sprinkles/candy decorations.

They say that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day. ❤️ And in honor of that, CWC has a green sugar cookie Grinch heart available for this holiday season. The jolly rancher center makes this the perfect treat for cookie and candy lovers alike. These large sugar cookies are available for $1.50 each.

Okay folks, introducing a new promotion here at CWC. The "Dessert Loyalty" card is now available! Starting today, all orders will receive one of these cards. For every item you order you will receive a hole punch. And your 10th item will be free! (up to $35).

Your punches are based on items ordered. So let's say one of your orders is a cake, 1 dozen cookies, and 1 dozen cupcakes. This equals three items, so for that particular order you will receive three punches. And your 10th item will be free up to $35. What can $35 get you? A free smash cake, or two dozen cupcakes, or one dozen cookies, or seven cocoa bombs, etc. And if your 10th order is something like one large cake, then you can use it to get $35 off of the price of that cake. Just one more way for us to say thank you to all of our loyal, return customers! 🙂

CWC had some more adorable little visitors this weekend. These My Melody characters were so much fun to make. Our signature sugar cookies, all blinged out with pink and purple edible glitter, they were definitely ready for the party! 🥳

Hitting one out of the park today at the Cafe! This baseball smash cake is a vanilla cake layered and covered in CWC's signature buttercream. The perfect addition to the awesome prop set up by Missy Gustafson . Super cute!!

Another cute little smash cake made its way thru CWC today. This Alice in Wonderland themed cake is a chocolate/vanilla marble cake with vanilla buttercream inside and out. An edible image to match the invitations for the party, with matching chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, all dusted in gold, top off this adorable birthday package. 💗

And the beautiful Barbie that visited did not fly alone. Accompanying her were these adorable Barbie sugar cookies. Some pretty tiaras, silhouettes, and barbies along with a crew of purple and pink butterflies. The perfect additions to make this birthday complete.

CWC had a visit from a beautiful Barbie Dreamtopia Fairy. This beautiful doll is draped in a french vanilla cake gown, covered in vanilla buttercream and adorned with wafer butterflies and tons of purple glitter. She is a full sized barbie doll that the birthday girl can play with once the cake is gone. And this cake also had another surprise inside. Surrounding Barbie in the center of this cake is a sea of purple sprinkles that will spill out once the cake is cut or the doll is removed. Lots of magic and sweetness in this birthday treat.

Now this is how you do chocolate! This is a large, 10” round, 4 layer high cake. Confetti flavor and layered with vanilla buttercream inside. The outside is completely draped in real melted chocolate. The combination of the crispy chocolate shell with the moist confetti cake is a delicious sweetness overload. Loving this flavor combination!

It was a bit of a crazy day yesterday, and I just realized I didn't post the pics of my second smash cake of the weekend. This is one of my favorites. An Alice in Wonderland theme! This is a 6" French vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. The flowers and candle were hand sculpted here in the Cafe out of sugar gum paste and fondant. 🌸

I'm loving these little smash cakes lately! So much fun to make! This is a 6" French Vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and black sugar gum paste cow print spots. I especially like seeing them in action for their photo shoots. And this prop set up is over the top adorable!! Absolutely love it! ❤️

There's lots of "Hunny" in the cafe today, with this honey pot smash cake. This is a 6" round vanilla cake covered in vanilla buttercream. Pooh's Hunny Pot just got a little sweeter. 😋

And accompanying Pooh's Hunny Pot cake, were these adorably cute Pooh bear sugar cookies! From Pooh's lovable cheesy smile, to the perfect little bumblebees on the onesies and the bee hives, they were the perfect combo for this awesome birthday party theme. Here's wishing Carsten the happiest of birthdays! 🥳

Some very special birthday cookies went out today. Can't believe that my youngest babygirl turned 24 today! I also can't believe she's old enough to be engaged and have a beautiful baby of her own. So very proud of you babygirl! Happy Birthday Emily Smith - loving you to the moon and back! ❤

And accompanying the highland cows at the baby shower, were these adorable western style sugar cookies. 150 cookies all dressed in western prints, shapes and colors. The perfect sweet pairing for this baby shower theme!

An adorable herd of highland cattle found their way thru CWC this weekend. These cute little cows turned these ordinary cupcakes into quite the eyecatcher for this western themed baby shower. With 150 of them in vanilla, strawberry and chocolate flavors and various cow face styles and colors, they were the perfect addition to this celebration. Decorations on each cupcake were handmade here in the cafe out of sugar gum paste. Congratulations to the mama-to-be!! 🍼
