This delicious little treat went out today. This is a 6", three layer high, Almond Amaretto cake. Made with Amaretto liqueur in the cake itself, and layered throughout and covered in an almond buttercream, with real toasted sliced almonds for decoration. This was a special treat for me to make because it went out to a wonderful life long friend of mine (literally since kindergarten), and her wonderful husband for their anniversary. Happy Anniversary, Katie and Al! 🎉 Love ya guys!

Mario is in the house! This Mario birthday cake was a big hit with my littles in the cafe last night. I had to hide it from them to keep it safe! Haha. This is a 6 inch, three layer high, triple chocolatey fudge cake with marshmallow vanilla buttercream filling and covering. Surrounding the bottom are mini figurines in a variety of Mario characters. Happy Birthday, Matthew!! I hope you have a great birthday! 🥳

Who's up for some Adventure Time? This adorable pair left the Cafe today on their way to a double birthday party for a brother and sister. Princess Bubblegum is an 8" vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. And BMO is an 8" square triple chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. All decorations were made here from a combination of sugar gum paste, modeling chocolate, and icing sheets. Happy Birthday to you both! 🩷🥳💙

CWC had these adorable cupcakes leave the cafe yesterday. These are our vanilla cupcakes in beautiful light pink flowers, white pumpkin and orange pumpkin designs. And of course with a splash of edible glitter bling. 😉

Accompanying the flower/pumpkin cupcakes, were these cute sugar cookies. The Burgundy and Pink colors really made these cookies pop. Congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy! 🩷🍼

Okay y'all, baking for this weekend's Fall Festival is in full swing here at the Cafe today! So between that and this week's orders I'm slowly catching up on all of your messages. So thank you for your patience 🙂. In the meantime, here is another cute item getting finished up that you can purchase Saturday at the Southgate Crossing Fall Festival. Paint your own cookie kits. Each kit contains three large Halloween cookies, two edible paint pallet sheets, and two paint brushes. Each cookie has a sugar gum paste/modeling chocolate coating for a perfectly smooth painting canvas for the little ones. Come on out Saturday to Southgate Crossing and visit our booth from 10 to 4 to grab yourself one before they're gone!

I will be having these limited time hot cocoa bombs available at my booth on October 7th at the Southgate Crossing Fall Festival. They will be available in Scary Sips Orange, Spooky Ghost White, and Ghoulish Gulps Green. The colors of the cocoa bombs will be the color of your hot cocoa. The orange and green are hot chocolate flavor but in Halloween colors. The white is a white hot chocolate flavor. Packed with marshmallows, sweetness and Halloween spirit, you won't want to miss these! Get out to Southgate early to grab yours while supplies last!! I'll be there from 10 to 4 next Saturday.

Jack Skellington is a regular here at CWC, so we were more than happy to have him visit us again this weekend! ❤️ This is an 8", four layer high, vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. And when I found out that the adorable Little that this cake was going to enjoys Halloween as much as I do, I just had to bump it up a notch. 🙂 So in between layers is not only buttercream, but tons of Halloween sprinkles. And each layer has a different style of sprinkle. I also added Halloween sprinkles on the outside edge and surrounded the cake with purple lighting. Happy Birthday to this little Halloween lover! 👻

Pikachu visited the Cafe this weekend. These colorful pikachu and pokemon ball sugar cookies brightened up CWC today. So cute I really hated to see them go. 😊

I want to start out by saying how much I LOVE these ideas my customers come up with! When we say we personalize our sweet treats, we mean it. 🙂 I had alot of fun making these cookies and cake for this 50th birthday celebration. These are CWCs beer mug sugar cookies in a 2 1/2" size vs our usual 5" cookie. The cake is a half sheet cake with three layers, each layer half chocolate and half vanilla. Filled with two different types of buttercream: one layer vanilla and one vanilla/almond. And covered on the outside with buttercream "beer bubbles". Happy 50th birthday, Larry! 😁

Cake Walk Cafe has a new look! Well, the delivery vehicle does anyway. 😁 Had to brighten up my game a little bit with some new signage, since my original ones have seen better days. I now finally have a back window decal too - thanks to all of you who have suggested it! So keep an eye out for CWC on the road making a delivery or at an event. We're rolling in the sweets this morning at CWC. Cake rolls that is! 😋 I had the honor of making these yummy rolls of sweetness for a Teacher's Appreciation Day event. The first one is a white cake roll with vanilla buttercream filling, and covered in a white chocolate candy drip with colorful sprinkles. The second one is a chocolate swiss cake roll with a vanilla buttercream filling, and covered in a milk chocolate candy drip with mini chocolate chips. A special thank you going out to all the great teachers out there. Thank you for all you do! 😁
